This Privacy Policy explains how Fuselit LLC ("Fuselit", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, dashboard, and related services (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — name, email address, password (hashed), and any profile preferences you set.
- Brokerage API keys — the Alpaca API Key ID and Secret Key you supply to connect your brokerage account. Secrets are encrypted at rest before being stored.
- Strategy configuration — the rules, symbols, sizes, stops, and other parameters you configure for your automated strategies.
- Communications — messages you send us through the in-app contact form or by email.
Information generated by your use of the Service
- Trade and strategy activity — records of orders placed by your strategies through Alpaca, fills, positions, and resulting performance metrics.
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, used for security, debugging, and product improvement.
- Cookies — we use a small number of first-party cookies for authentication and theme preference. We do not use advertising cookies.
Information from third parties
- Alpaca — when you connect your brokerage, we read account, position, and order data from the Alpaca API on your behalf.
- Payment processor — if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor shares limited billing metadata (e.g. plan, status, last four digits of card). We never see or store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
- To operate the Service — authenticating you, running your strategies, displaying performance, and sending alerts.
- To secure accounts — detecting abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- To support you — answering questions, fixing bugs, and improving the product.
- To send transactional email — login confirmations, security alerts, billing receipts, and product notices. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed to operate the Service:
- Brokerage (Alpaca) — to place and manage orders on your behalf using the credentials you provided.
- Hosting and infrastructure — our cloud provider hosts the application and database under standard data-processing terms.
- Email delivery — our transactional email provider delivers account and alert emails.
- Payment processor — for subscription billing, refunds, and tax compliance.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fuselit or others.
4. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: encrypted connections (TLS), encrypted storage of brokerage secrets, hashed passwords, and access controls on our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.
5. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction — you can view and update most of your account information from the dashboard.
- Deletion — you can delete your account from the settings page. Deletion removes your strategies, encrypted credentials, and personal information, subject to limited retention required for legal, tax, and audit purposes.
- Disconnect brokerage — you can remove your Alpaca API keys at any time from settings.
- Email preferences — transactional email is required for the Service to function; product update email (if any) can be unsubscribed from any such message.
- Regional rights — depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example, under GDPR or CCPA) including data portability and the right to object. Email [email protected] to exercise them.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After deletion we retain limited records (such as billing history) for the period required by applicable law.
7. International users
The Service is operated from servers that may be located in countries other than your own. By using the Service you consent to your information being processed in those countries.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
